Linton Zoo, Cambridgeshire

Hello there πŸ™‚ Last week we’ve decided to go to Linton Zoo. It was such a lovely day out with our 2 years old daughter and the fact that the zoo is relatively small facilitated us to see all the animals.

There is a large variety of animals that you can see in this zoo like lions, tigers, tapirs (there is even a small cutie one as you can see in the below picture), zebras, kangaroos and many others.

It’s completely different from other zoo we’ve visited like Africa alive (which is our favorite ever) but considering the fact that this zoo was only 1 hour drive from where we live, it was totally worthy. Our little one was so happy to see all the birds and also to take pictures with the different dinosaurs and gorilla’s statues 😊

It was also particularly interesting to see my little girl faces while some birds were eating or when she saw for the first time a tiger (ps she loves tiger as it’s one of her fave character in her nighttime story) as this is part of life and she never experienced something similar.

There are also different facilities like a picnic area (weather permitting), a coffee shop (I personally like to pack all the snacks for Sophie but we previously had a lovely coffee from here), baby changing and a gift shop.

I leave you all the prices in case you would like to plan a trip to this zoo and the link for the opening times http://www.lintonzoo.com/visiting.html 😊

Here’s the zoo’s address: Hadstock Road, Linton, Cambridgeshire, CB21 4NT

Free beach at Frosts Garden Centre, Willington, Bedfordshire

Ok, we’ve literally discover our new favourite place and also daddy loved it. Here at the Frosts garden you can find this lovely large sandpit called “The Beach”. Don’t worry if you forget toys and “tools” because they provide looooots of buckets and spades. There are also quite a few colourful Little Tikes cars for your little one to drive around. In addition to that there are also some soft play shapes to sit on or even to try to carry around, like my little one tried to do without success (not sure why but She always tries to carry heavy things around.. Ooohm) The nice thing is that all activities are free without need of booking.

There are several picnic benches around, where you can enjoy a coffee like me in the picture. And there is also a mini golf area. Basically everything you need to have a lovely day with your kids. The kiosk is lovely too and prices are good. I would definitely recommend to visit (when it’s not raining or perhaps a bit chilled).

I will post down below other pictures of our lovely family day at Frosts Garden centre.
